Routine cleaning checklist
Everything we cover on a recurring visit, room by room. Print it, keep it on the fridge, or use it to compare cleaning companies.
This is the standard we work to on every routine visit. We clean top to bottom and leave floors for last, so dust that falls during the visit gets picked up rather than left behind.

Kitchen
- Countertops and backsplash wiped
- Sink scrubbed and fixtures polished
- Stovetop and burner grates cleaned
- Range hood exterior wiped
- Exterior of oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave
- Inside the microwave
- Cabinet and drawer fronts wiped
- Small appliances wiped down
- Table and chairs cleaned
- Trash emptied and liner replaced
- Floors vacuumed and mopped
Bathrooms
- Toilet cleaned and disinfected inside and out
- Shower and tub scrubbed
- Glass doors and tile walls wiped
- Sink, counter, and vanity cleaned
- Mirrors cleaned streak-free
- Fixtures polished
- Towels straightened or replaced
- Trash emptied
- Floors vacuumed and mopped
Bedrooms
- Beds made or linens changed on request
- Nightstands and dressers dusted
- Furniture surfaces dusted
- Mirrors and glass spot-cleaned
- Under accessible furniture vacuumed
- Floors vacuumed and mopped
Living areas
- Surfaces and shelves dusted
- Electronics and screens lightly dusted
- Cushions straightened and under them vacuumed
- Window sills wiped
- Tabletops cleaned
- Floors vacuumed and mopped
Throughout the home
- Light switches and door handles disinfected
- Baseboards spot-cleaned
- Cobwebs removed from corners
- Stairs and hallways vacuumed
- Entry mats shaken out
- Final walkthrough before we leave
