This policy explains what Solace Cleaning collects when you use this website or book a cleaning, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
Solace Cleaning is a residential cleaning company based in Austin, Texas, serving Austin, Round Rock, Kyle, and Buda. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Solace Cleaning, and "you" means anyone using this website or our services.
What we collect
Information you give us
- When you book a cleaning: your name, address, email, phone number, details about your home (such as bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage), entry instructions, and your payment card details.
- When you request a quote by text: your name, mobile number, city, the service you're interested in, and anything you type in the notes field.
- When you apply to clean with us: your contact details, work experience, availability, and the information needed to run a background check.
- When you contact us: whatever you include in a call, text or email.
Information collected automatically
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect standard web analytics: pages visited, how long you stayed, roughly where you are (city level), the type of device and browser you used, and which site or search sent you here. If you decline, we don't collect this.
Our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. These are not used to build a profile of you.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for and don't want your Social Security number, driver's license number, or financial account numbers. We never see or store your full payment card number — that is handled entirely by our booking provider's payment processor.

- To take payment and send you a receipt
- To contact you about your appointment — confirmations, reminders, changes, and follow-ups
- To answer questions you send us
- To hire and vet cleaners
- To understand which parts of this site are useful, so we can improve it
- To meet our legal and tax obligations
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We don't share it for anyone else's advertising. We do share it with the companies that run parts of our business:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our cleaners, or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and customer records for as long as you're a client and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal reasons — generally several years. Quote requests that don't become bookings are kept for a shorter period. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. If you want your information deleted, see below.
Your choices
- Cookies: you can accept or decline analytics cookies when you first visit, and change your mind any time using the cookie settings link in our footer.
- Email: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You'll still get messages about bookings you've made.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them.
- Access, correction and deletion: email us and we'll tell you what we hold about you, fix anything wrong, or delete it. We may need to keep some records for legal reasons, and we'll say so if that applies.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act. We extend the choices above to everyone who asks, regardless of where you live. We won't treat you differently for exercising them.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection. Payment card details go directly to our booking provider's payment processor and are never stored by us. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to do the job. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee against every possible breach, but we take this seriously.
Children
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Links to other sites
Our booking form is provided by BookingKoala and may load content from their systems. Our site also links to other companies, such as Google and Facebook. Those companies have their own privacy policies, and this one doesn't cover them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
